A rare and appealing bird's eye view map of central California, with a guide offering auto trips, hotels and other points of interest. As per the text on the verso:
"The purpose of this map is to show in a general way the topography of Central California at a glance, the trend of its best roads, relative location of towns and cities, scenic wonders, resorts and all else it has to offer to the automobile tourist."
We have located one other example of this map, with an advertisement for the Shattuck Hotel in San Francisco, not Aetna Insurance, as is present here.
