Arthur M. Prentiss was a prolific and esteemed Oregon commercial photographer.
Included in the collection are picturesque shots along the Columbia River Highway, with views of Tooth Rocks near Eagle Creek, Latourell Falls, Wahkeena Falls, Bridal View Buffs and Rowena Heights. Also included are photos showing lush arrangements of roses, tulips, and other native Oregon flowers in Portland-area parks such as Laurelhurst Park, Washington Park, Peninsula Park, and the Portland Rose Garden, as well as in front of private residences around the city. There is also a birdseye view of a downtown Portland street, and two shots of Rockaway Beach in Tillamook County.
