Thorn is shown posed alongside a number of other Calaveras County officials. They are as follows: Samuel Redmond - Deputy Clerk; William Coulter - Deputy Clerk; N.C. Hanscom - Deputy Assessor; William H Steffler - Treasurer; A.L. Wyllie - County Clerk; John B. Reddick - Attorney; and Iral Hill Read - Attorney.
The photograph was taken in front of the old court house on August 5th, 1890.
