Charming album of photographs and related ephemera showcasing the elaborate spur designs produced by the El Paso based company, P.M Kelly and Sons Manufacturers, as well as other cowboy accoutrements such as bits, boots and gloves.
The album features 17 graphic photographs of hand-forged bits and spurs, each executed to a high degree of excellence, and many with detailed metal work such as hand engraved embellishments and ornate, showy designs. Also present are a few ephemeral items including a published profile the company and original owner, P. M. Kelly; clippings on Texan spur history, an order form, and a printed magazine ad announcing sale of the company to the Renalde family.
