Four sharp, double-weight photos by the great architectural photographer Ezra Stoller, showing detailed scale models of Lincoln Center, published in 1958 to announce its construction. There are two photos showing models of the plaza and two showing the Opera house, which opened in 1966. There is an affixed newspaper clipping on the verso of one of the prints which notes that the goal of the ambitious project is to, "make America the recognized cultural capital of the world." (Those were the days!)
