A handsome, mid-century commemorative album documenting the Parker Pen Company's headquarters in Janesville, Wisconsin, which was founded by George Safford Parker in 1888. From the 1920s-1960s (before the invention of the ballpoint pen) the company was either number one or number two in world-wide writing instrument sales.
The present album contains 44 photos on 14 double-sided pages. Some of the pages with multiple photos are collaged in the negative, but some have photos affixed to the page. Included are dynamic photographs of the production facilities, products, and employees, and the inside cover bears a charming image of the photographer, Jim Warner, writing his credit with a Parker Pen (naturally).
