After Fiske’s death in 1962, The North Dakota Heritage Foundation Inc., through a contractual agreement with State Historical society of North Dakota published 300 editions of two portfolios of Fiske’s most iconic images. The portfolios were printed in 1983 at Argentum Laboratories in Seattle Washington on Kodak Azo, Grade 2, chloride contact speed paper. All prints were processed and tested maximum permanence and mounted on 100% rag archival museum board. Each mounted print has Fiske’s original hand stamp as well as argentum’s stamp, the printers signature, the edition sequence on verso to further guarantee the authenticity of each photograph.
