An unusual pair of late-19th century Californian cabinet card portraits showing people of Chinese descent. In one image, a man and a woman are seated at a table. This photograph has an embossed credit from the Sonora, CA, based studio oddly-named "Hell's." The other image, of a man seated alone, does not have a credit stamp but is mounted in the same fashion. This image has a manuscript signature on the verso in pencil.
